The Haryana Chess Association (HCA) exists with a clear and passionate purpose — to promote, nurture, and elevate the game of chess across the entire state of Haryana. Since its inception, HCA has worked relentlessly to bring chess into the mainstream sporting culture, ensuring that every aspiring player, whether from a bustling city or a remote village, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and excel in this timeless sport.
Chess is more than just a game — it is a discipline that sharpens the mind, cultivates patience, and instills values of fair play and strategic thinking. We aim to take chess to the grassroots level, introducing the game in schools, colleges, and community centers. By conducting chess awareness programs, school leagues, and inter-district tournaments, we work to identify and nurture young talent early.
We provide platforms for players to test their skills through well-structured tournaments, from district-level competitions to state championships. Through training camps, mentorship programs, and exposure to top-level events, we help our players reach national and international standards.
